Translate anything, from any language
A post written in Turkish, Albanian or Bengali carries a Translate button for readers who do not read it. Nothing is translated until somebody asks, and Show original is always one tap away.
Messages, on your terms
Talk to people you have met in the circles, with the same on-demand translation the feed has. Messages between brothers and sisters are off unless you turn them on, and blocks apply across the whole app.
Moderated, and gendered where it matters
Sisters can turn off messages from brothers, and the setting is respected everywhere in the app, not just in the inbox.
Anonymous when you need it
Some questions are hard to ask under your own name. Posts can be made anonymously inside a circle without leaving the community that answers them.
Nothing happens to a post until somebody asks
A post is not translated until a reader presses Translate, and Show original is always one tap away. The setting that decides who may message you is respected everywhere in the app rather than in the inbox alone.
Worth knowing
- Translation covers the languages the engine detects, and the button only appears on writing that is not already in the language your phone is set to.
- Anonymity is per post and inside a circle. It hides the name, not the moderation: reporting is on every post and every reply.

Can anyone message me?
No. The opposite-gender setting is off by default, blocks apply everywhere, and reporting is on every conversation.
Are messages translated automatically?
Never automatically. A message is translated when you press Translate, and only then.
